Mental health, the carnage of Juárez, globalized poverty and the continued failure of US and Mexican governments with the NAFTA and so called war on drugs are issues that are reflected on by the people in this film.

We’ve plans for reaching out to audiences by setting up screenings as forums for discussion.  We’re particularly interested in doing this in the US and Mexico.  If you’d like to contribute in any way then please get in touch.

A crowd funding campaign is also being planned to raise money to build a vegetable allotment in the desert next to the asylum with its own irrigation.  The mental patients you know from the film will soon be digging in the dirt and growing their own food.
